‘Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.’ (2 Corinthians 5:20)
Beloved, you are in this world, but not of this world. You are an ambassador for Chirst.
No longer are you bound by the chains of sin. Stand tall, for you now represent the Kingdom of God.
You’re the light of the world. A light that cannot be put out.
Do not hide your light under a basket. Instead, set it proudly on a lampstand so you may shine and bring light to all who’s in the house.
Do not be ashamed for receiving the righteousness, blessings, and favour of God.
Receive them boldly in faith through grace.
Let them be clearly seen, so that all who see you may glorify your Father in Heaven.
For you are a blessed child of God. His royal priest. A proud ambassador for Christ.
You are the living evidence of God’s goodness and love.
Be Greatly Blessed!
Father, what a great honour it is to be Christ’s ambassador on earth.
Thank you for redeeming be through the light of your grace.
Teach me. Lead me. Guide me.
Help me to shine brightly in this world and be a beacon of hope that points to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
May I continue to do your will and glorify your name with my thoughts, words and deeds.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
When we’re reconciled to the LORD we become favourable, and acceptable in the eyes of our Almighty God.
Reconciliation is to change mutually, to make atonement, and to disperse as one body in Christ, carrying a message for the One who died for us.
The ministry of reconciliation is a role in which all of us strive to bring forth, to show, and demonstrate the love of our Heavenly Father and to share the powerful message that is the Gospel of Christ.
For all who are willing to receive the saving grace of Christ will be reconciled unto God.
God wishes to commune with us forever. He plans to call us into “One body”. To perform according to His purpose, His will, and His timing. To bring forth a renewal of character, resulting in a deeper walk with Him and a cleansing of our hearts and spirits, bringing us higher unto Him.
In turn, we’re to be His beacon of light in a world of darkness. Through friendship, through helping someone less fortunate, through our daily activities, through caring for someone who is in need, by visiting someone who is lonely, by calling someone who has no family, and is too sickly to venture out into the world, by providing an “ear” for someone who needs to vent, or by inviting someone to get to know Jesus.
Most essentially, we become good ambassadors by listening to His voice, reading His Word, meditating on His promises, and following His guidance.
Each principle above is a key component of being God’s representatives on earth. We’re to demonstrate through our thoughts, words, and deeds, the love of our wonderful Saviour.
So clothe yourself with the armour of the Gospel, which deflects all the arrows of the evil one. Go forth into the world, confident and proud of your position in Christ.
Let your light shine forth and chase away all darkness.
