“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Have you ever paused to ponder upon what you ponder upon? This may sound confusing but think of it for a minute. Do you spend your time worrying? Bitter? Easily Angered? Displeased? Moody? Confused? Have you ever wondered why that is?

When our thoughts are set on things that are carnal, things that are not praiseworthy, on gossip, lies, manipulation, we wind up with a life lacking Joy and peace. Our speech life also becomes affected. We become technically unable to be lights in this dark world.

As Christians, Philippians 4:8 is not just a suggestion we are to follow when we feel like it. Rather, it is actually the pathway to Joy, peace, contentment, and favor that the Lord has promised us. Take today to analyze your thought life. Is it in accordance with Philippians 4:8?
