You Can Count On Him

DevotionsYou Can Count On Him

“I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies;” (Psalms 44:6-7)

Lean on the Lord, not on your own understanding.

Our riches may fail us. Our intelligence may fail us. Our strength may fade.

But God remains unchanged. And He’ll give you victory over the enemy through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In what do you put your trust? In whom do you place your faith?

Dearly beloved, you don’t need to have everything figured out.

Even when you’re being surrounded by enemies (troubles). Even when you can’t see the way out.

Know that God is with you and that everything is under His control.

Put your confidence in Him, and you’ll never be dismayed.

Let His presence go before you and straighten the path for you.

Let His light shine on you and show you your next steps.

Whether you feel like you’re lacking in righteousness, joy, or finances, Jesus is the answer.

And His gift of grace has already been given to you.

So receive! Trust in the Lord! And Rejoice!

Be Greatly Blessed!

Father, thank you for being so dependable.

Nations may fall. My strengths may fail. But you, my Lord, always come through.

Teach me to trust in you, even when I can’t clearly see the way ahead.

Align my priorities with you. Lead me on the path you’ve prepared from me.

Fill me with your wisdom and grace, that I may fulfill your calling.

Anoint my head with oil, for your blessings never run dry.

May your favor and lovingkindness, overshadow me and run down over me wherever I go.

For you are the Lord who loves me. You are the Lord who takes care of me. You are the Lord who redeemed me from the depths of despair.

Let the healing river of your spirit refresh my soul.

I will dwell in your presence and lean on your strengths.

May I grow greater and greater in your love as I trust more and more in you.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
