I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
WHO DO YOU SAY YOU ARE?
Many times the devil whispers lies into the ears of believers about who they really are. When pains, sicknesses, disappointments, or frustrations come your way, you are likely to gradually nurse a wrong feeling about yourself, you begin to doubt the love of the Father or start comparing someone else’s life journey to yours. You forget your true form, your uniqueness, and the flavor your life adds to the earth.
The Psalmist tells us how we have been fearfully and wonderfully made. One certain thing I can tell you is that your maker never looks down or gives up on you, and if your maker never looks down on you; you should never look down on yourself.
You can ask, but pastor, what about when I am really tired of my pains, how can I find strength? The problem we have as men is we always limit God to our situations. God does not change! His plans for you as long as you relly on Him cannot be thwarted by your situation, for this reason, be rest assured that even in your sickness or pains God had brought you into the world for a purpose you must fulfill.
You are the glory of God revealed to men through you
Next time you think of who you are, declare this aloud “I am the glory of the Lord revealed to men through me!”
