Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
Parents are often the first sets of examples children have when growing up. Babies gradually observe that adults walk on their own, eat on their own, communicate intelligibly to one another.
For some children, their parents lived highly successful lives. They managed to show their children that success despite gender is entirely possible. As such, these children step out into the world with the understanding that success is doable and even normal.
This is the same attitude we should have towards the example Jesus showed us. Although Jesus is God, He came down to this Earth and into the full limitations of the flesh. He fulfilled His God-given mission. He never sinned, and never lost to the world. In the end, He went up to Heaven. As a Christian, God expects the same from you as His child. How long will you remain on your belly crawling as a babe? It is time to stand up to your true potential.
