Isaiah 14:12-14

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Genesis 3:4-6

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Continued rebellion

Our first text in Isaiah 14:12-14 speaks about how Satan rebelled against God by desiring to be like God, this made God cast him (the devil) away from His presence into an everlasting punishment.

The second text in Genesis 3:4-6 reveals how the devil came corrupting man with the thoughts of being like God. Man fell to the devil’s scheme and also received due punishment from God for his sin. This sin which seemed so little caused a separation between God and Man. Because of Mans’ sin of rebellion, he also received the same judgment with the devil: Everlasting separation from God in Hell.

The sin of one man (Adam) pronounced a judgment of condemnation to all mankind (born or unborn). However, Thanks be to Jesus who paid the price for Mans’ salvation with his blood, giving equal opportunity for all men to choose to renounce their choice of rebellion by accepting Him (Jesus) as God over their lives.

Do not continue in your Rebellion!

Today many people continue in rebelling against God. We see people running after power, wealth, fame, self-aggrandizement etc.

Whenever you place anything higher than Jesus is in your life, you rebel against God

The devil keeps covering the effects of Sins in our lives: for example, when you fornicate, you are directly violating Gods law and indirectly telling Him you make your own laws. When you reject Jesus (God who manifested himself in flesh) you are still a full-time Rebel just like the devil.

Remember, God will not share his glory with any man. Rebellion is a serious issue.

SATAN rebelled and was sentenced to eternal punishment without appeal!

MAN rebelled and was sentenced to eternal punishment (Jesus was sent to save any Man who believes in Him)

MANY MEN still rebel against God today by rejecting Jesus and persisting in their sins.

The only way to avoid Gods Judgement is to acknowledge his Lordship over your life. Jesus is God sent into the world, He offered himself a sacrifice for you to be saved. You must declare Gods Lordship over your life by accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. To  accept Jesus, please say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner and need your deliverance. I declare with my mouth this day that you are my Lord. I believe in my heart that you rose from the dead in other to give me salvation. Please forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood and come into my heart. Thank you for accepting me as one of your own today. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer assured you are now a friend of God. Please send us an email (info@personaloutreachministry.com), we will love to pray with you.
