Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you really want to access God, you must learn to build a love relationship with Jesus. You must have a meeting point where you communicate as lovers and cherish each other. You must recognize Jesus as your bridegroom, see Him as someone who longs to talk with you. He has spent so much on you and wants to be with you, to feel your heart beat, to know your sincere love and to hear you. As a husband, He longs for your dedication, your touch and your commitment to issues that border Him.
You must build this secret relationship before you begin to bombard the devil!
Sometimes we make noise in prayers… we fail to pour out our hearts to Jesus. Jesus wants a relationship and not hard babbling of words we sometimes do not understand. His Spirit who lives within us wants a relationship, He wants to hear you talk to Him with love, with passion, and with total trust. Remember the Sons of Sceva? (Acts 19:11-20) These young men had no relationship (secret meeting point) with Jesus but they could speak many words. Because they had no relationship with Jesus, their words had no effect on the devil, rather the devil dealt with them.
Your words do not trouble the devil unless they are backed by the authority of Jesus. For this reason, you must be a faithful bride of Christ before you can plunder the devils camp successfully.
Remember every faithful bride has a secret meeting point with the bridegroom!
Jesus is the only way to God, build your relationship with Him through quiet time.
Lord Jesus, I know I need a more intimate relationship with you. Help me to build this relationship, deliver me from all things that steal this precious time from me.
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; (Psalm 63:1)
