Say the word

DevotionsSay the word

Matthew 8: 8.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

From our text, The bible tells us of a centurion who needed the Lord’s healing intervention over his  sick servant.
Being a man of faith, He insisted the Lord not to come to his house but rather say the word and the rest was history we know the story.

In my study, I discovered that the centurion requested for “THE” word not just a word.
We must understand that every situation has a word meant for the solution.
A man who needs food will never get a solution with “go and sin no more” it’s the wrong word for such situation.

The centurion knew as a man of Authority that there was a specific word needed to solve that problem.
Sometimes we carelessly say words that increase the pain we suffer.
We must understand in the place of prayer, that as the issue differs, so the solution differs.
Your attitude to one situation must not necessarily be needed for another.

When Jesus encountered the storm, the Lord rebuked the wind by the words “Peace be still” (Mark 4:39).
God has a word for you concerning those challenges. He is the solution to every problem.

In a place of prayers, sincerely make a prayer of surrender and then say to the Lord over those issues of life;
“Dear Jesus, I have tried and failed on my own, I have faith in your word. Please say the word of solution to this particular situation of my life”.

As you sincerely say this prayers, trust God for a visitation on those issues.
When you say Lord Jesus say the word, you’re literally saying Jesus take control, I hand everything over to you because Jesus is the word that was made flesh and dwells with us (John 1:14).

May God bless you and grant your heart desires.
