How to score high in a rice puritytest.
The rice puritytest is a self-graded survey that assesses the participants’ supposed degree of innocence in worldly matters (sex, drugs, deceit, and other activities assumed to be vices). This test has been taken by many people all over the world. For several different reasons people take this test over and over again. This post focus on those who take the test with the interntion of staying pure.
Psalm 119: 9. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Staying pure means FREEDOM from adulteration, contamination, immorality and all sorts of sinful works.
We must understand that living a life of purity is possible when we apply the right antidote to a pure living.
The world has no good in it and will offer no help in the aspect of giving us a well-deserved life.
Every anti-purity activities were birthed from the world.
A believer that seeks help from the world’s system by reading a world standard booklet, will only add more problem to His current state.
The Bible tells us of one person that is capable of setting lives free from uncleanness.
John 8:36 tells us that; If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Who is the son?
The son of God is Jesus Christ, who was made flesh, dwelt among men, died and resurrected to give us a right standing with God. (John 3:16).
Even before the beginning, Jesus the son of God was.
Jesus Christ was the word of God that created the world.
The same word was made flesh and dwells among men. John 1:1-5, 14.
That is why when we read the Bible, it reveals the personality of the son of God to us, it speaks to our soul and transforms our spirit.
No wonder our Bible text tells us, that a man can only stay pure by taking heed according to God’s word.
Are you struggling with sin?
You must take heed of God’s word. Taking heed means to obey and live by the standard of the word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us what the word of God does; All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
A total freedom from sin and a perfect life of purity comes from the word of God.
The way we treat God’s word determines the result we get out of it.
Our previous devotional on the 6th of April that talks about the 4 kinds of Christians, taught us on how to live by the power of God’s word.

Make God’s word the standard for your life and enjoy freedom from all works of the flesh.
It’s a process but needs consistency.
I pray for the Grace to study God’s word and live by the standard of His word in Jesus name.
James 1: 22. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23. For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
