Psalm 105:4; Luke 10: 39-42
🕯️The word Relax has become a strange word among Christians today, especially in countries, where insecurity has taken over the entire country. We are troubled and worried. Yet, Jesus admonishes us in Matthew 6, not to be worried.
🕯️Other causes of not relaxing are economic situations, criminality, and thinking about tomorrow and what it will bring. But, relax, God is in control. It is, however, important to mention here that Relax does not mean Indolence. It simply means seeing God in total control of our concerns and seeing Him as our Almighty guide.
🕯️ God works for us when we relax in His presence. He told Moses and the Israelites at the shore of the Red Sea to be calm. At this calmness, He performed the great miracle of crossing the Red Sea on dry land. The Lord says we should cast all our burdens on Him because He cares for us. What a Father!
🕯️Our problem as Christians is, that as we spend time with God, our thoughts tend to jump ahead of today’s plans and problems. We go ahead of God. This is dangerous to our spiritual life.
🕯️ Bring your mind back to God for refreshment and renewal. Let the light of God’s presence soak into you, as you focus your thoughts on God.
🕯️Stop your mind from wandering, grasp God’s provisions for you, because you can achieve nothing without Him.
🕯️Thus, He will equip you to face whatever the day brings. This sacrifice of time pleases God and strengthens His children.
🕯️ Do not skimp your time with God. Resist the clamor of tasks waiting to be done, God is in control. Do not panic, He is mindful of you.
🕯️By holding tight to God and your faith, you have chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from you.
📍Again, relax in God’s presence, He is aware of that situation, He will bear you in His arms and scale the huddle.
Shalom and Maranatha!
