Text: Psalm 86: 8. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

It is beyond human comprehension how a virgin could conceive without a sexual relation, but this is nothing to the ability of our God. Luke 1:30-37.
It was beyond scientifical proof how the universe came to Be, but Lord, in just a spoken word, you created the heavens and the earth and everything in it . Genesis 1.
Medical science couldn’t comprehend how a dead would come back to life again, but to our God, it’s as easy as drinking a cup of coffee.

There is none like our God.
Nothing can be compared to Him.
The gods of the heathen are no match in comparison to our God.
The Bible describes the heathen god as blind, deaf, dumb and disabled god.
Eyes, yet blind.
Ears, yet deaf.
Mouth, yet dumb.
Hands and legs but yet disabled and the same qualities are seen in those that worship such a god. Psalm 135:15-18.

You don’t fight for our God, He fights His own battle and defend the majesty of His name.
You don’t kill to protect His name, He kills and maketh alive to protect the splendour of His name.
In display of a high level of foolishness and stupidity, as the Philistine captured the ark of God’s covenant, they set it up side by side with their baby god Dagon in Ashdod.
At the first break of the day, they came and saw Dagon on the floor, with head on the floor right in front of the ark of the Lord’s covenant as a sign of obeisance to the God of all gods.
Again they set Dagon up on its place and the next morning when they came, Dagon was decapitated and amputated on the floor.
1 Samuel 5:1-5.
As the Israelites thought losing the ark was loosing all battles, they never knew God wanted to fight the battle Himself.
As the ark remained in Ashdod of Philistine, God’s anger was kindled against them and He destroyed them.
They buried in hundreds daily. 1 Samuel 5:6-12.

Don’t joke with God.
He is loving and also a consuming fire.
A perpetual life of sin can attract the anger of God.
We must return honor by the way we live to this great God of our salvation.

I pray God fight all your battles and above all, draw you closer to Himself in Jesus’s name.
