Then the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.
Man has fallen so great that he has lost consciousness of his main form. Man has neglected he is spirit, for this reason, man has channeled all attention to a secondary form. When God formed man out of the dust, he breath life (spirit) into him. That life is our main form. Without that breath, man was mere dust, man was just like a toy with no function. The breath of God given to all men is the single point of our living today. No wonder once the spirit is away, the body is dead and totally useless. How then have we fallen so far, fallen to the point of placing so much value on the perishable body and forgetting the nonperishable spirit? Why so much emphasis, care and concern for the perishable and less concern for the spirit?
You must understand that as irrelevant a little injury on your smallest toe may be it has the power to kill you. The spirit is not irrelevant neither is it little. I personally believe we are 99% spirit beings and just 1% flesh. I believe the spirit controls all about the physical, no wonder Jesus won the victory on the cross by fortifying himself with prayers.
The spirit Is God’s breath… sin pulls us away from identifying and having rewards in our lives. The deeper we allow sin overshadow us the more we loose touch with our spirits.
To experience fullness of your God given gifts as human, draw near to God and allow him to kill sin in your life.
Prayer: Father pull me close to yourself that i may learn to serve you. Amen
