Text: Daniel 6: 10. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
The best of a man is revealed in the time of challenges.
Every man is equal to themselves in comparison until the testing time.
It is the time of challenges and test that separates boys from men.
In school, during lectures, everyone is rated equally as they listen and make contributions but the best is known at the time of a test or exams.
The Bible says Daniel maintained his normal attitude of worship and prayers to God, 3 times daily, with open windows as he had always done, despite the warning that no man was to pray unto any other God except the god of the King until after 30 days.
Many believers would say, in the place of wisdom, is better I stop my prayers for 30 days, after all, its just 30 days.
Some would even give in to fear and pray to the king’s god.
Many would hide and hold their prayers, but it was recorded for me and you to learn a God’s expected attitude of responding to threat, that Daniel maintained his normal attitude of worship and prayers to God.
Sometimes, I see people for no good reason, pick offense in the church of God and decide to follow God no more as if they were doing God a favor.
Some believers in the time of a little difficulty, they fall off their faith.
We must maintain the frequency and even climb to a higher frequency.
Let the challenges, the difficulties, build your faith and increase your services to God in His vineyard, increase your commitment to the study of His word, increase your prayer life, increase your commitment to evangelism.
Let that trouble increase the fire of God in your life.
Don’t give up on God.
It was the contest at Mount Carmel that brought out the power of God’s Glory in the life of Elijah.
He wasn’t intimated, despite He was outnumbered by the prophets of Baal and other prophets of a dead god.
Instead, the contest brought out the best of His work with the Lord. 1 Kings 18.
Don’t give up.
Don’t get tired.
Maintain and increase your frequency.
I pray God strengthen you and walk you by hand, through that fire and water situation in Jesus Christ name.
