John 8:36; 10:27; Proverbs 19:21
💙Once you allow the Holy Spirit to take the control of your mind, you have succeeded in ceding the control-room of your life to God. Then you can rightly claim to be a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led maturing Christian.
💙 Do you really want your mind to be controlled by God? Then, listen to Him continually. He has much to communicate to you as His child.
💙 The Lord trains us to set our minds on Him more and more, turning out distractions through the help of the Holy Spirit.
💙One of the problems of our spiritual life and growth is mind-focussing and control. How and where to focus one’s mind is the main issue. If one does not focus one’s mind on a right direction, what happens after that is a mind saturated with temptations, and without Spirit-led self-control, succumbing to those temptations becomes easy.
💙Therefore, to allow God control your mind for your spiritual interest, you must walk with Him in holy and impeccable trust, responding to initiatives, rather than trying to make things fit to your plans.
💙 Trying to make things fit to our plans without the Lord’s direction, is the beginning of mind-rerouting in our spiritual life.
💙Remember, Jesus died to set us free and this includes freedom from compulsive and impulsive planning in our lives.
💙 When one’s mind spins with a multitude of thoughts, one cannot hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in one’s life.
💙A mind preoccupied with planning pays homage to the idol of control. Turn from this idolatry back to God. Listen to the Father and live abundantly.
➡️Remember, your mind matters in this race, and it’s control matters the more. Anyone (Jesus Christ or Satan) who controls it is your master and lord. Think deeply about it.
Shalom & Maranatha!
