You are a prince

I know His name

Text: Proverbs 18: 10. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe.

How God exalted Him and gave Him the name above all names, that at the mention of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, things on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord.
Beloved, no power or situation, can stand the name of Jesus.
The more we know Him, the more submissive we become to His instruction and more intimate with Him, the more effective the name becomes to us.

When poor blind Bartimaeus cried unto Him for mercy, He responded and opened his blind eyes.
When the centurion requested for a word from Him, He responded and released the word needed for the healing of the centurion’s servant.
When the poor widow of Nain encountered Him as they headed to bury her only son, He showed mercy on them and brought the dead lad back to life.
Oh, what a beautiful name it is!

I know His name!
I boast in His name!
I have seen Him wrought miracles, great signs, and wonders in my life and around me.
Beloved, when you’re sick in the body or emotionally sick, call Him the Healer, for His name is Healer. Psalms 107:20.
When you are confused on the path to follow, call Him your compass, for His life, is the light of men. John 1:4.
In a time of provision, call Him Jehovah Jireh, His name is Jehovah Jireh the provider. Genesis 22:14.
When you’re lonely, call Him the comforter. He has promised never to leave us as orphans. John 14:18.
Many beautiful and great things written about our God that we cannot mention all.

Beloved, just as we have seen from our anchor text, the only criteria of receiving help from this name is “Righteousness”.
When we have a right standing with God, surely, His name will do more than we have asked or think.
Confess your sins before the Lord, and live a holy life, so that God will manifest His majesty in your days of trouble.

Shalom.
