His ways (God has a plan)

Genesis 41:1
“And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.”

After Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s servant dream in prison, he was expecting a favor in return. I guess he was expecting the servant to mention his case before the king so that he could be freed from prison.

God, on the other hand, had a different plan and a unique strategy to make that come to pass. After two years of waiting, God did what Pharaoh’s servant couldn’t do. He released Joseph from prison and made him the second in command to the king within a day.

As believers, God is always planning something greater for us. He doesn’t say yes to some of our prayers because He has a better plan. The servant could have helped Joseph immediately he was out of the prison and Joseph will be released to continue being a slave in Egypt.

I know we all have plans but beyond this our plans, let’s always remember that God has something better and greater in stock for us. His ways are not ours. God bless you
