For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
We all were born sinners. We were sinners because the first man (Adam) violated Gods law. The violation of Gods law is called sin. The sin of man is a great offence to God because God had already said “the wages of sin is death”. This means that, as man sinned, he had to die. So, man was condemned to die because of his sin. This decree troubled God because of his love for mankind.
If there would be a remedy to this decree, God himself had to die. The love God has for man is greater than whatever we can imagine, this love led God into sending his son to die for mankind. His son became flesh and dwelt among us. The death of his son reconciled us back to God.
