Evangelism: Passing The Good News to Others: Make It a Priority (Mark 16:15-16; Deuteronomy 4:9)
🎙️Telling people about our faith and beliefs has been a very difficult task for many Christians today. No one knows why, but the Christians of the First Century were very delighted to do so. This is because they discovered that the most valuable possession believers can bequeath to family members and acquaintances is faith in Jesus Christ.
🎙️Christians have the responsibility to share key biblical truths with loved ones. These essentials of the faith are too precious to be kept to ourselves.
🎙️ We all know the fact that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Every other way is fake. Therefore, from an early age, children should be taught that the most important relationship they will ever have is with the Lord. That is, believing in Him and obeying Him. It is essential to let them know the universe was created by the Lord, and He owns it all. We are only managers and custodians of our resources, not the real owners. We are just stewards.
🎙️ Many like spending on their personal pleasures instead of investing in the Kingdom of God. As stewards, all our investments should be in the Kingdom of God. His priorities are, first and foremost, to make us His possession. He has a purpose for each of us and discovering it is very essential (Eph. 2:10).
🎙️In our day-to-day routines, we can look for opportunities to share with people God´s plan for our life. In the process, our loved ones might become curious about what His purpose is for them. Thus, the presentation of the Gospel to them begins.
🎙️ God gives us talents and spiritual gifts to achieve His purposes and plans here on earth. He promises that we will have what is necessary for us to live a life that is pleasing to Him. In some Christians, these talents and gifts are wasted because they are not put into use for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.
⌚ Why wait? Start sharing your faith now because time is far spent. Each day offers new opportunities to speak of our Saviour to human beings. Think about the people to whom you could pass this precious possession. Do not forget your relatives and acquaintances. Christ is coming soon.
Shalom and Maranatha!
