Text: Matthew 21: 19.
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
Beloved fruitfulness and multiplication are one of God’s concern for man.
The first command of God after creating man has always been to be fruitfulness and multiplication.
In other words, God is saying be fruitful in abundance.
In anything your hands find to do, you have the mandate of God to prosper and multiply your prosperity.
Being fruitful is a command, which reveals to us that as a man connected to the life-giving spirit, you ought to be fruitful.
It is not a good testimony to be barren as a life-giving spirit.
Beloved, what else can we say when Christ is already in us?
For with Christ living in us, our hope for tomorrow’s glory remains alive.
From our anchor text, it was clear that it wasn’t the season for the tree to bear fruit, yet Jesus cursed her for being fruitless.
Beloved there’s no excuse to not being productive, for you don’t know when God would demand the substance of your existence.
In 2 Timothy 4:2, the Bible says; preach the word in and out of season.
In God’s kingdom language where I come from, there’s no such thing as my season has not come, every day must be for relevance.
Now reason with me, if you wait for a particular season, what then happens to the benefits He loads you daily with?
A man that waits for good weather will never sow. Ecclesiastes 11:4.
Because you’re not yet a university graduate is not a limitation to being fruitful.
Because you come from a poor family, is not a limitation to being fruitful.
Search deep inside of you, there is a talent you’re yet to discover, there’s an oil that is yet to speak on your life.
Don’t settle for the less, stand up and grab your destiny by force.
