Come To Jesus With a Teachable Spirit

DevotionsCome To Jesus With a Teachable Spirit

Romans. 12:2; Jeremiah. 29:11

📝Today is the first day of the beginning of the second half of the year (July 2022). How do we start this half of the year?

📝 First: we just have to examine thoroughly how our relationship with God was in the first half. 📎Are there some amends to make?
📎Are we really growing in our spiritual life?
📎Are there some confessions to make?

📝 Such questions are sacrosanct in our heavenly journey. A Christian who does not take cognizance of these things has not really started his/her spiritual journey.

📝 Second, we must approach God with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed.

📝A close walk with Jesus is a continual newness. Do not cling to old ways as you step into this new month.

📝 Instead, seek the face of the Lord with an open mind, knowing that your journey with Him involves being transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2)

📝As you focus your thoughts on the Lord, He is attentive to you. He sees you with a steady eye, because His attention span is infinite, unlike man’s.

📝 He knows and understands us completely. His thoughts embrace us in everlasting love. He also plans for our good (Jeremiah 29:11).

📝 Therefore, let us give ourselves fully to this adventure of increasing attentiveness to God’s presence from the first day of July 2022, and we will witness the great Fatherhood of God.

👉🏽 Make sure you start making amends in your life to foster your spiritual growth. It is highly important and beneficial to be close to God than to be close to the world.

👉🏽 Remember, the Lord will soon come for His own. Make sure you are one of them by accepting Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Shalom and Maranatha!
