Being Steady as Children of God

DevotionsBeing Steady as Children of God

Isaiah 41:10

💡Isaiah 41:10 says Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

💡This verse is so comforting that the children of God ought to relax with confidence in the presence of God.

💡 But, too many things interrupt our awareness of His presence. We live in a world of sights and sounds. We fear and dread what we see and hear, especially in the present state of insecurity around us, but we must not be slaves to those stimuli because our heavenly Father promises to be with us and uphold us with His Righteous Right Hand.

💡Awareness of God can continue in all sights and sounds, no matter what happens. This is the steadiness the Lord desires of us. We must not fret, and we must be courageous.

💡 Do not let unexpected events throw you off course. Rather respond calmly and confidently, remembering that the Lord is with you.

💡The major problem of human beings is they forget God believing in their own strength when troubles come. When they are overwhelmed, they give in. We should rather be strong in the strength of the Lord, not in our own strength. Being strong in Him gives us confidence and calms our nervous system down.

💡As soon as something grabs your attention, talk with Him about it. He offers the best solutions to our circumstances.

💡 God shares our joys and problems. He helps us to cope with whatever is before us. This is how He lives in us and works through us. This is the way of peace.

💡 Let us take God by His Words. He says them and they are real and infallible. When something fearful grabs your attention, remind God of His Words and Promises in Isaiah 41:10. He keeps His Words and Promises. Trust Him.

Shalom & Maranatha!
