Text: Ephesians 5: 18. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
There’s no substitute to the personality of the Holy Ghost.
The amount of the Holy Spirit in us, is the determinant factor of the amount of our spiritual exploits.
There’s a deposition of God’s Spirit to every believer that comes to Jesus, but the deposition is an introduction to the workings and filling of the Holy Spirit.
A man who has a portion of God’s Spirit is nothing compared to a man who is filled with the Holy Spirit.
Beloved being filled with the Holy Spirit means having all of your entity under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
God will not fill a vessel that has dirty contents in it already.
No one takes a full jar to a stream to get some water.
Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit are those who are thirsty, Hungry and desperate for the in filling.
A man who is thirsty will pay any price to get what would subdue his thirst.
When you’re thirsty of God’s in filling, no price will be too much for you to pay.
A thirsty man will approach God with all expectation, concentration, humility of heart, and brokenness.
God has promised never to look down on men who approach Him with a contrite heart and a broken spirit.
Come to Him in such manner and desperation of heart.
God wants to use our hands to work, He wants to use our mouth, our entire body for His work but we must surrender to Him and be filled with His Holy Spirit.
Indeed there is no limitation to the workings of God, He does above our thoughts and request but only according to the level of His Spirit we operate in.
Do you want to see God wrought miracles, great signs and wonders using you?
Then you must yield to Him and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the one that brings about the manifestation of God’s power in us.
I pray for you, may this season bring about great spiritual transformation in your life as you daily seek the Lord with an undying thirst and hunger in Jesus Christ name.
