Being Ready For Christ’s Future Reign On Earth, Requires His Reign in Our Hearts Now (Revelation 19:11-16)
👸 Jesus shall reign on earth in His Second Advent. In Revelation 19, we see Jesus exalted as the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Here, we see Him returning to earth to:
📍Rescue His people,
📍Judge the wicked, and
📍Set up His kingdom.
As heaven opens, Christ rides out on a white horse in power and great glory.
👸It is important I mention here that this appearance will be very different from the first when He arrived humbly and quietly in Bethlehem as a helpless baby. This time,’ every eye will see Him´ (Revelation 1:7), as He comes to bring inescapable judgment.
👸The exalted King is not coming alone. The armies of heaven, who are clothed in the fine linen of the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7-8), will follow Him on white horses. If you are a Christian, you will be in this army of saints and angels. This is the fulfillment of the promise that says believers will rule and reign with Him (Revelation 5:10). Do you want to reign with Christ? Then, read on.
👸This is certain, a day is coming, and it is near when Jesus will literally reign on this earth as King. But even before that time, He rules in the heart of every believer (those who will reign with Him). Sometimes Christians make the mistake of saying that Jesus came exclusively to offer salvation. Note that salvation is just the beginning of all the blessings the Lord has in store for us. However, it is only in submission and obedience to Christ´s authority now, will we be transformed into His image and live a life worthy of His rewards (Revelation 22:12). Do you want to reign with Him? Then, He must reign in your heart now.
👉🏼 Can you sincerely answer the following questions:
📌In all practicality, who is the king of your life?
📌Who guides your decisions and
📌Who directs your path?
👸The Creator has a plan and purpose for your life, which can be discovered only by living under the authority of Jesus Christ. May His kingdom come and His will be done in your heart.
Shalom and Maranatha!
