He grew up before the Lord like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
He took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds, we are healed.
like sheep, we all have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
Jesus was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of you and me, he was punished.
“Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him…” His choice to die for the sins of the whole world has given him a name by which we must be saved
For we all have sinned and have been destined for condemnation, but whoever believes in Jesus will be saved.
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is salvation, no other way to life after death but believing in Jesus, believing in who he says he is.
Do you believe in Jesus today, then say this prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice on the cross for my salvation. I believe in who you say you are, Help me to know you more as I choose to submit my life to you. Come fill my heart Jesus, teach me your way and lead me into the assignment you have for me here on earth. I accept you as my Lord and Savior today. Amen
