Text: Mark 4:35
When that evening came, He said to His disciples, “Let us go across to the other side.”
Sometimes we find ourselves comfortable with normal routines in life. These routines become difficult to change as we have permitted them to be part of us. Neverminding if these routines could be limiting us from accessing the next phase of our lives, we just feel comfortable not going out of them.
Whenever Jesus decided to cross over to the other side with his disciple an uncommon miracle is recorded. In Mark 4:35 it was a storm that needed to be tamed. With his uncommon authority, Jesus calmed the storm by speaking to it.
God wants you to witness his uncommon blessing at all times. For this reason, he needs you to trust him and be willing to go to the other side with him.
The bibles tell us in John3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
No matter how long we wish to remain with our known routines, the time of death is coming when we must get out of such routines. If you permit Jesus today, he will guide you in all new experience life or death may bring.
Gods love is today calling out to you “come! the one who is thirsty, come! and the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.’’
There are greater grounds to cover in Christ, do not let the devil tie you down for too long on a spot. If you have not yet given your life to Jesus, run to him today and begin experiencing uncommon miracles as you journey with Jesus.
Prayer to receive Jesus
Lord Jesus thank you for your offer to help me in all uncertainties, whether in this life or beyond, you have promised to help me. I accept you this day Jesus, be the Lord of my life. I confess you are Lord and I believe you will save me. Amen.
Prayer to move to a higher ground
My Saviour Jesus, I trust in you. Your will for me is perfect, hold my hands and lead me where you want me to be. If there is any unbelief in me, please Lord, help my unbelief, teach me how to trust you more. Amen
