Text: Matthew 5: 13. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Salt is a white natural substance that adds flavor to the taste of food.
Beloved, God has called us into the earth to flavor the creation.
“For to them who believed in Him, He gave the power to be called the sons of God.
In you lies the solution to the problems and challenges of men.

There is a healing virtue to bind up wounds in you.
There’s the place of wisdom for good counseling and sound judgment.
There’s another place of power in the Holy Spirit to set captives free from all works of Satan.
Though we’re in the world, yet we’re not of the world.
As salts of the earth, it’ll be impossible to manifest the life of God, when we have failed to rely fully on God and yield to His Spirit.
As a salt sent unto a tasteless, sick and dark world, you must be mindful of the Heavenly and who you belong to.

Beloved, you’re the light of the world, a city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Let’s shine the light of God in this dark world.
We must do the work of our Father in Heaven while it is the day.
A faithful Steward will be rewarded according to his stewardship.
It doesn’t matter where you are, as a child of God, you have been called to make a difference.
When we shine forth the light of God’s word, souls will be rescued out from darkness to walk in this light.

Again I say, you’re the salt of the earth.
Do not live below the standard God has placed you.
For what use will be of a salt that losses his savor?
You’re the light of the world.
What will be of a light that has refused to glow?
While it is the day, let’s risk whatever it’ll cost us just to win Christ as we walk in the stead of His path and righteousness.

Shalom.
