63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. 65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”
In John chapter 6, Jesus revealed himself as the bread of life which must be eaten by anyone who wants to be saved. This was a hard saying for the people as they wondered how anyone could eat the flesh of the carpenters son.
Because of the darkness surrounding them, they never understood the meaning of Jesus’s words. This was not surprising to Jesus because he knew only those given to him by his father (God) would recognize the spirit and life in his words.
No one can believe in the works or person of Jesus without the help of the father. Whoever belongs to Christ has been chosen and handed over to Jesus by the father from the beginning of the world. Are you a child of God? do you believe in Jesus? if yes, you have been given to Jesus by the father to keep until the day of redemption.
God has a choice, he reveals secretes about his son to his chosen ones. That secret has been revealed to you (That is the reason you believed at the first place). If you are still struggling with sin, never doubt God’s saving grace upon your life, never doubt his presence to raise you up, never doubt his love. Rather see yourself as a child who needs to grow. Endeavor to grow by asking the Holy Spirit to expose more about Jesus to you (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Your fall does not make you an illegitimate child, it only shows how little you know about your father and his kingdom.
God desires so much for us to grow as there are lots of assignments we must do. As children of God, we are the light of the world. Sin covers our light, putting the world in darkness.
You have been positioned in your family, church, or society to bring healing, joy, restoration, peace, prosperity to people around you. If you remain in sin, you deprive your loved ones from having a happy life. You expose them to harm. Remember you are the light of the world. For people to walk without stumbling, there must be light.
One thing i must say again is; Remember, God expects a lot from you, your falling into sin does not show you are not saved. Never let the devil rob you of the opportunity of rising up and pressing on! Paul said in Philippians 3:13, forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what is ahead. To live a happy life as a christian, you must be determined not to fall again. Always ask the Holy Spirit to help you.
