Text: Ecclesiastes 12: 1. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

We easily get caught up with every new system we come across.
We want to please God and the world at the same time.
We find it easy to yoke with the world, patterning our lives and copying the system of the word.
Remember a friend of the world is an enemy of God. James 4:4.
We have forgotten our morals, our parental foundational discipline, and spiritual upbringing.
But today God has sent me to warn you.
You must remember where you have come from.
Remember the price Christ paid to redeem you from sin.

Why do we have to remember?
Because one-day, beauty will be no more.
One day, the good curves, beautiful skin will return back to earth where it belongs.
One-day, you will try to eat your favorite food and you won’t be able anymore.
One day, the night cometh when no man can work. John 9:4.
One day, the ministry you love so much will be under the hands of another.
One day all the wealth and money you have worked so hard to earn will be under the control of another.
Now you chase away flies and maggots but one day you will no more be able to chase them in the grave.
One day all your names and titles of Bishop, Dr, Papa, Mama, Apostle will be accompanied with a very common name, the name Late will come one-day before your real name.

We waste our years on earth in pursuit of things of no value.
We do all sorts of evil, we are ready and willing to go an extra mile with evil in pursuit of wealth.
Where is that generation of men who have forgotten all to gain Christ?
We’re are now in the generation of gaining all by all means at the expense of our soul.
Jesus said, what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
How can a young man go to the extent of performing rituals in pursuit of money, wealth that we see today and tomorrow is no more?
How can a young woman spend all her life in immorality with the body God has called His temple?

Beloved!
Remember the Lord now that you can.
If you can communicate with those in the grave, many would tell you how they wished for an opportunity to serve the Lord.
Remember the word of God.
Never depart from God’sword, meditate therein day and night. It is a command that you keep on meditating until you learn to do what the word says. Joshua 1:8.
Remember the Lord your God.

Colossians 3:
1. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6. For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7. In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
