Prayer is fellowship with God

Mathew 6:7

6 But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by their many words they will be heard. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.…

Our God is far beyond our human minds. So many times we tend to limit God by our actions. Many think God will only hear their prayers if they scream on top of their voices, or if they are well articulated and mention exactly their problem to God. Beloved, before you opened your mouth to pray God already knows your problems. In fact, He knows your problems better than you do. You may ask “then why do we pray”? We pray to tell God we trust Him, we pray to honor His supremacy over that situation.

Never be deceived by the false doctoring of too many words or repetition of words. God is looking for a sincere heart, dedicated and totally surrendered to Him. Next time you pray, focus on appearing before the King of Kings with a pure heart of sincere love, purge yourself of hatred and submit yourself to God.

A key to a successful prayer life is not the ability to shout or say too many words, it is rather a sincere heart before the Lord backed with faith in Him.

May the Lord guide our hearts to a deeper revelation of fellowship with Him. Amen
