1 Thes 5:16-18
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Christianity in this modern age is gradually turning to a personal affair. As much as I understand that salvation is personal, there is also a place for collective Christianity. Nowadays, believers are mostly happy for what God does for them while neglecting His mighty act in the life of others.

The fact that you didn’t experience the same mighty act doesn’t make God less of who He is. As believers, we are not saved to only praise God when things are good for us. Our praises to God shouldn’t be conditional. We are called to praise and worship Him in every situation.

In fact, we are meant to praise God for what He is doing in the life of others more. This is one of the ways to attract God’s favor and blessings. Even when it seemed our lives is in a standstill, we must keep praising Him for His greatness in the life of others. I encourage you to praise God for the great and mighty testimonies in the life of others around you this week and beyond. God bless you.
