Text: John 1: 12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Bible says, to as many that have received and believed in Him, He has given the power to be called the sons of God.
When a man is in Christ Jesus, He becomes a son of God. And it is only a son that enjoys the benefit of sonship and inheritance of his father.
Again to be a son of God, tells us of another birth different from the birth of flesh. They are born of God, not of blood or flesh the Bible says. John 1:13.
The birth of flesh is limited to accessing the deep things of God. For no man pleases God by the flesh.

Having received the power to be called the sons of God, through salvation, water baptism, and Spirit baptism, we now enjoy;

1.  Access to operating in God’s kingdom.
By the reason of our new birth, we have a full access to God’s kingdom. Unlike when we were still sinners and faced barriers in accessing the kingdom blessings.
Now, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we commune with the Lord through prayers and His word.
Just as the Bible tells us that Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost is the key to accessing God’s kingdom (Romans 14:17), by the reason of our new birth, we are made righteous not by our works but by the reason of our Faith in Christ Jesus.
We experience unquantifiable joy and peace amidst any circumstance.
A man that operates in the Heavenly Kingdom, will conquer the kingdom of men and the devil.

Isn’t it beautiful on such an amazing transformation by the reason of sonship?
Glory to God!

2. We have an equal right to Heavenly secrets as heirs of God and joint heirs with the son Jesus Christ. Romans 8:17.
As a joint heir with the son of God, we are not limited to accessing the spiritual realm of divine possibilities.

3.  As sons of God, we have a delegated Authority from God, to operate with His license here on earth.
A delegated authority is a power vested on someone or people, to effectively represent the one who did the delegation.
Therefore when we carry that power, it is a living witness that we are now God.
We carry the creator in us.

God has delegated us!
And God sealed that delegation with an everlasting seal that makes us a citizen of Heaven.
The seal is the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13
We can see an example on the same way nations appoint ambassadors to represent them in a foreign country, the seal of the Holy Spirit can now be seen as our e-Passport, that makes us citizen of God’s kingdom.

It doesn’t matter where an ambassador of a nation might go, the moment he displays his e-Passport, his identity is seen and clearly recognized. In the same manner, the Holy Spirit bears witness that we are sons of God. Romans 8:16.
When nations sing in their Anthem, as sons of God, we pray in another tongue in the Holy Ghost.

The delegated power came on us after Jesus overcame death.
Christ said; “All power has been given unto me, go ye into the world and preach the Gospel” (Matthew 28:18-20).
And the power was also accompanied with a mantle, which is the name of Jesus, the name above all names that when we mention, every knee bows of things in heaven, things on earth and beneath the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. Philippians 2:10-11.
We don’t wrestle with guns and bombs, we wrestle with the name that is above all other names.
The delegation of Christ’s authority makes us sit above spiritual powers and principalities.
We seat with Christ in the Heavenly realm.

A decision to accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior will grant you the benefit to enjoy the blessings of sonship.
Sincerely say these prayers if you want to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the savior of your life.

Lord Jesus!
I acknowledge I am a sinner for my sins are not hidden before you.
I confess all of my sins to you this day.
I believe you died on the cross and rose again to set me free.
And I confess you this day as the Lord and personal savior of my life.
I denounce the devil every work of the flesh.
Thank you for saving me today.
Amen.

It is well with you today, tomorrow and forever.
Have a fruitful week.

Shalom!
