Text: Philippians 2:12.
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
We are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
When we loose connection of what saved us, we would surely return to where we were called out from.
You must thirst for the spiritual milk of God’s word, to grow more in the knowledge of the one who had saved you and in your salvation the Bible says. (1 Peter 2:2).
Again, a man who got saved from a fire, stands as a witness and a caution to people playing with fire.
The same way it is after salvation, we stand as God’s mouth piece to warn others that are yet to be saved of the dangers ahead their eternal journey without Christ the savior.
Jesus didn’t die on the cross to give preachers or me and you a well paid job.
His Grace did not save us so we could sit and be thankful.
Rather He saved us, so we would be fishers of men.
He saved us, so we would flow like a water tap, for others to benefit from His wonderful saving Grace.
The Lord wants us to fish for the souls of the lost In our various field of life and career.
Now that you’re saved, Go into the world, the streets, the by ways, the high ways, and speak as a witness to the Saving power of the Lord.
God bless you.
