Is He in your boat?

Mark 4 :35 – 39

35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!”Then the wind died down and it was completely calm

Jesus is Lord over all storms, it does not matter how great your trouble may be, Jesus can still speak to the waves to be quiet. Imagine the disciples traveled leaving Jesus behind, Imagine he was not on the boat with them. I believe they would have struggled and eventually been overpowered by the wave. The disciples recognized the power of Jesus, they believed if he was called upon he can at least do something to save them.

Who is on your boat today? who do you take along wherever you go? The Holy Spirit is a close friend and wants to go with you where ever you go.  In your car, in your bedroom, in your office, in your school, wherever you go always remember to invite him and call upon him in times of trouble.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, call upon him in times of trouble and he will deliver you.
