I am a servant of God

Titus 1:1-3

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, 3 and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior.

The servants’ creed

I am a servant of Jesus Christ. Sent to God’s chosen people so that they will believe and know what is true. This will make them more like God wants them to be.

I do this work because then they can hope to have everlasting life. God does not fool people. He promised everlasting life before he made the world.

And at the right time, he sent men to tell people his word. God, who saves us, trusted me and told me to tell that word.

No matter what goes on around Me, as a servant I am dedicated to keeping my masters will. I will live a life after his will, I will take up His cross daily and follow him and when I die, I shall be with him in Glory.

I am sure, very sure that my master watches me and is interested in every step I take. I will always work on the paths he has shown me in other to prove my love for him.

Do you want to be a servant of Jesus Christ?

Being a servant of Jesus is being a servant of the one and only true God. Jesus is a manifestation of God in human form sent to restore man back to God. His death and resurrection is a completion of the process to restore man back to God. Whoever believes in Jesus and confesses him as lord and savior shall be saved. When you confess Jesus as your Lord, you hand over your entire life to him, He becomes your master, you accept to let him lead you, you accept to work for him, bringing his will to past, you become his servant/representative here on earth, you become an ambassador of heaven. You are no longer condemned to hell after death but to an everlasting life with God.

To become a servant of God, please say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for your death and resurrection, I believe and accept you as my Lord and Saviour, teach me how to follow you daily and serve in your vineyard. Amen
