Psalm 136: 1. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude especially to God.
Being grateful to God doesn’t imply on pleasant situations alone, we must be thankful even in difficult times.
A man that is grateful to God at all times, will attract the greatness of God.

Let’s try for once and switch our complains and requests to thanksgiving.
Have you ever thank God for saving your soul?
Have you ever thank God for the air you breathe?
Ungratefulness is a sign of wickedness.
We must learn to be thankful for the ones we have called little.
God wants us to cultivate a prayer lifestyle of thanksgiving.
The Bible tells us, to make our request known unto Him, through prayer and thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6.

If we look around Our environment, we would indeed see reasons to thank God.
If you can look back at what your life was some 10 years ago, you will indeed stop the complains and start thanking God for His blessings, repositioning and love.
To see more reasons on why you should be thankful, walk through a cemetery and you will understand that even at your situation, being alive is still better than the dead.
The Bible says the dead cannot praise the Lord.  Psalm 115:17, Isaiah 38:18.
You can also visit the emergency and ICU unit of a hospital and get wisdom, for a living dog is better than a dead lion the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 9:4.

Now stop the murmur, complains and worries and start thanking God for His love towards you.
Your life is a fact that God is not done with you yet.

Prayer of thanksgiving.
