1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
I heard the story of a small boy who went shopping with his mum in a grocery store. As they shop from one section to the other, the boy had so much fun. When they got to the candy section, the boy stopped and started staring. Then the mum said to him “go ahead and pick some candies for yourself” but the boy kept staring.
The mum left him at that spot and went on to do other things. Finally, the store keeper out of curiosity came and deeped his hand in the candy box and took some for the boy, then the boy left. Later the mum asked the boy; “why didn’t you pick some candies when I told you to do so”. The boy responded “the shop keeper’s palms are bigger than mine, I was able to fill all my pockets”.
In all things in life, the best is to be like the boy and allow God to decide for you. God’s palm/hand is bigger/mightier/stronger than yours. What He will pick for you will fill you up to overflow. Stop running ahead of God, keep calm and wait for God to decide for you. Remember, His palms are incomparable to yours. Have a great day,
God bless you
