2 Timothy 3:1-5

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

These are the days the bible speaks of in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, these are the last days.

Many times when we hear the last days we think of a horrible time to come. I tell you, these are the last days. We are experiencing the days when the trumpet shall sound at anytime; When Christ shall rapture his bride.

The bible speaks of this hour as like a thief in the night. A time when no one will expect. Just as in the time of Noah, there was eating and drinking, life went on as normal until the hour of the great flood (Matthew 24:37-39) so will be the coming of Jesus. Life will keep going on as normal as it currently is, and all of a sudden the sign of the son of man will appear in heaven, and only those he finds faithful will be saved.

Will Jesus find you faithful in serving him?

To be faithful is to continually walk in the spirit. Paul said ” So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh”. The sound of the trumpet can be heard by only those in the spirit, for it is spiritual. Those who walk in the spirit bear the fruit of the spirit and those who live in the flesh the fruit of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-24

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

If you find yourself bearing the fruit of the flesh as listed above humbly ask God to deliver you as he is ready to deliver.

Faithfulness in Christ is continually following Jesus no matter the situation nor price to pay.
