Text: Proverbs 14: 12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Life is a journey to eternity, that begins from the very first day of our first cry on earth.
As we journey through life, God gave us the free will to choose on the path of our journey.
There are 2 roads leading to the path of eternity, the road to everlasting life and the road to everlasting torment.
Every man is responsible for his choice of path no matter what he encounters.
Right from the days of Abraham until Now, God has kept a warning signal on the path of death and kept the cross as a symbol leading to the path of life.
Despite the biblical accounts of how those that took the wrong path ended, yet many people including believers are still headed to the path of eternal damnation.
Every road has an End, the road of the cross that brings to eternal rest in God’s kingdom and the road without the cross that takes men to a dead-end.
Many after counting the cost of living righteously, turn to the evil way of life.
The evil road seems right to men, every pleasure and satisfaction is obtainable.
On that path are liars, fornicator, cheat and many more of its kind according to the word of God in Galatians 5:19-21.
Sodom and Gomorrah was a city that had all her inhabitants living in sin.
They threaded on the path of destruction.
As God sent His servants, they never listened until the full day of their judgement when and God rained fire on them and destroyed every living creature on the land. Genesis 19.
Take a self-examination on your life today.
Are you on the path of life or death?
Will your works stand the test of fire? 1 Corinthians 3:13-15.
If God has spoken to you today through these words, turn back and ask of the place of the cross.
Turn ye from the path of destruction and ask of the old path of righteousness and holiness. Jeremiah 6:16.
Do not harden your heart to the words of the Lord.
Repent and save your soul from eternal damnation.
Many that woke up strong, left for their job and met a sudden death never knew it would be their last.
Many among the dead wish for a moment to amend their ways.
Don’t wait for tomorrow beloved.
Only the pure in heart shall see the Lord. Matthew 5:8.
And without holiness, no eyes shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14.
