Close but blind

Text: John 14: 9. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Do you know it is possible to spend years with someone and yet your knowledge about them is still shallow?
Many believers are like Philip who was with the Lord for years yet he knew him not.
Beloved the level at which you know about a personality or something in general, is the level at which you can operate or access it.
A shallow knowledge on the personality of Jesus Christ who we pray with His name daily, will produce shallow testimonies.
You don’t run successfully with the first information you received on a subject, but as you progress in with that subject, you research more to deepen and expand your knowledge on it for proper use.

Beloved being born again for twenty years is no cure for spiritual blindness.
To every accessory, there is a manual that helps us build a strong and reliable knowledge about it.
In the same way God has blessed us with His word to search daily and learn what He looks like, how He feels and everything about His personality.
There’s more to God than a healer.
There’s more to Him than a deliverer.
Until you search His word, you might not know that He is a Father, a friend.

Counting attendance in church services and activities are not enough.
Dig deep, deepen your time, your strength and your all to building a strong and everlasting relationship with God from today.
