Text: 2 Corinthians 5: 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

We go through so many thoughts in our mind at every point of our life.
The mind of men is programmed to process events, activities and also the future.
We have thoughts like;
When I get a job, when I become so wealthy, when I finally settle down maritally and many other beautiful thoughts.
But have you ever thought of this one thought,
“When I take my last breath, what would be my last activity.?

Will you be caught up unaware by the cold hands of death in your immoral activity, swindling activity, and all sorts of evil?
We must learn to number our days on earth in order to gain wisdom. Psalm 90:12.
In Jesus’ words about His coming, He said;
Matthew 24: 43. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

In same manner, we must be careful of the activities we engage ourselves in.
Many have died right in the act of their sin.
Don’t only focus on temporal things, focus on eternal things.
When we focus on things that are not perishable with eternal value, we would honor God with our body and our resources.
Now imagine an armed robber who died in the act, a fornicator who died in the act, what would be their fate before God?
For condemnation and judgement is sure for those who are not in Christ Jesus.
Condemnation are for those who walk according to the flesh. Romans 8:1.

Beloved, it was God’s love for the world that brought Jesus to redeem you.
If Jesus has saved you from the world and works of flesh, do not go back to them again.

Prayer of repentance.
Jesus i have heard your word.
Forgive me my sins as I repent today and turn a new life.
I confess you as Lord and Savior of my life.
Thank you for saving me in Jesus Christ name.

May God help you to effectively live the Christian life and run the race.

Shalom!
